Alright. Let’s get started cos I guess I’m lacking behind. Hee... Ok here we go!
Assignment 1~
week one!
Research on theme first! Find out what is about and find the problems that are REALISTIC! If there’s any itchy ideas in mind should just draw it out!
Week two!
Research more on the problems. Lay out the problems. Then, try giving a rough idea of each problems. Maybe I can compare which problems are realistic to be solved! This will help me to decide which problem I want to do on. More research will be done if needed. Week three-four!
Here I will decide which problem I should be doing on. Then I will research more on the problem such as the need, the user and the environment. Like with the help of PIES~ physical, individual, environment and social need! We can have picture analysis of the problem.
Week five!
Will do a pesona profile of the user. This will help on trying to find more of the needs.
Week six-seven make sure on the track and not off the right track. This week will decide the design brief and specifications.!

ReplyDeletedo take note that you can use MINDMAPPING, photo analysis and PIES to analyze the PROBLEMS/NEEDS... (which you did mention, some, good.)
make sure the aim before design brief is to churn out a DESIRED NEED to solve (of course from the many many needs analyzed)..
great job on stating the fact that you can use persona profile to find out more needs... please do that if you feel that you can analyze/find more problems in the earlier stage of designing....
it is your own STARTING point, you can come from any direction.... as long as you are designing and solving a genuine problem.
